The Black Data Professionals Network is a pioneering community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering growth, collaboration, and representation within the field of data. This event served as a platform for professionals, aspiring individuals, and industry leaders to come together, share insights, and forge meaningful connections that will shape the future of data science and analytics.

The speakers were on point. Tolu Adebekun what a class act. The man, the myth, the legend delivered a masterclass of inspiration for the audience. Buki Mosaku had the audience captivated like putty in our hand. Navigating unconscious bias and his “I don’t understand” are must-knows for anyone of colour to put into practice.

David Colborne Torrey Sanseverino Victoria Harvey from BeZero Carbon gave an amazing insight into the innovative work BeZero Carbon does,  and putting the carbon credit sector to rights.

Maninder Paul from ROOTS INSPIRE sharing with the audience how ROOTS INSPIRE is moving the dial with seamless external mentoring programmes and more for the corporate world, loving the D&I commitment shown to data organisations on the hunt for talent from Frank Recruitment Group explained by Daniel Shuttleworth and Steph Doel for her insight into life at Salesforce.

Phillip Sewell shared his professional and career journey with the audience.

This gave the audience the chance to expand their professional network, exchange insights, and build lasting relationships.
